We Must Stop Barrelling Down the Path of Dire Mental Health, Issues, Banning Guns or Arming More People...
by Nick Ashton, Founder, CEO, Tracometry
The shootout has got to stop! This is an issue that affects millions and millions of families and their children and will not be solved or resolved in the focus of a press camera or audio microphone. It is about people, life and the freedoms we expect in America. Ranting and raving by all concerned will get us nowhere fast!
Just step back, take a deep breath and get logical!
The discussion and solutions are regarding safety, guns and mental health and this cannot just be directed at schools, colleges and universities. It is a problem where ever their is a gathering, public places, the workplace and the home.
"America’s most powerful gun lobby has demanded armed guards in the hallways of every school, declaring: “the only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun", so states the NRA (National Rifle Association.
The NRA had promised they would offer “meaningful contributions” to the national debate on firearms in their first public statements since the massacre at Sandy Hook elementary school, where gunman Adam Lanza murdered 20 children and six adults. It was not...
Michael Bloomberg, the mayor of New York City and a champion of gun control, described the press conference as "a shameful evasion of the crisis" facing the US. "Instead of offering solutions to a problem they have helped create, they offered a paranoid, dystopian vision of a more dangerous and violent America where everyone is armed and no place is safe," he said.
Mr LaPierre (NRA), called on Congress to create a “national shield” of armed security guards in every single school in America by the time classes resume in January. “What if when Adam Lanza started shooting his way in the Sandy Hook Elementary School last Friday, he’d been confronted by qualified armed security?” He said. “Will you at least admit it’s possible that that 26 innocent lives might have been spared that day?”
He warned that “the next Adam Lanza” was already planning an attack and said the government must create “an active national database of the mentally ill”. There is no band-aid that will fix this!
He railed against “the press and political class consumed by fear and hatred” of gun owners and attacked the “callous, corrupt and corrupting shadow industry” of violent video games. At one point, the press conference was shown a brief clip of an Internet game called “Kindergarten Killers”, where the user shoots at animated children. “Isn’t fantasising about killing people as a way of getting your kicks really the filthiest form of pornography?”, Mr LaPierre said. The NRA remains a potent force in US politics, donating millions of dollars to both Democrats and Republicans in order to secure their opposition to gun laws. More than half the members of the incoming Congress have received donations from the NRA during their political careers.
However, the group’s position appeared to be out of step with a growing number of Americans in support of gun control. Mr Obama responded to a petition on the White House website that demanded tighter restrictions and had gained nearly 200,000 signatures. “We hear you,” Mr Obama said in an online video. “I will do everything in my power as president to advance these efforts because if there’s even one thing we can do as a country to protect our children, we have a responsibility to try”. Trying to make sense of grown men and women arguing to the point of hatred over children's safety, gun controls and shades of mental illness is sublime and ridiculous. Facts are facts, we have a problem Houston!
Solutions are necessary and we must start by fessing up to the problems and stop the NIMBY attitude.
There is a mental health problem in the USA and worldwide
Guns in the wrong hands, whether a mentally challeged person or a criminal is more than dangerous
Background checks on all legal purchases is a must
A strong gaterkeeper security principle must be put in place in all schools, colleges, universities, public event locations and to some extent, the workplace. Which will include some armed guards, but not as the ultimate and only solution
Accept that Big Brother Solutions are the only answer, as nothing else in decades has worked
Our Tracometry experienced team has answers that are merited with discussion. This is a time to think about all our futures and resolve immediately, without pause and delay.
and Street Level Information to Make the Right Decision?
by Nick Ashton, Founder, CEO, Tracometry
The issues are simple and relate to one thing, safety for all!
Subjects, gun control and mental health, which are like oil and water, they do not mix! It is not just schools that concern us, it is the workplace as well. Violence has increased at an alarming rate and it seems, since we have introduced more social technology to communicate by, we have either silenced each other, or just plain non-communicated in a pleasant manner. Our home lives are spilling over into everyday work and education environments. Domestic situations, which need our attention, have been ignored. Family friends, fellow workers, you know someone or somebody that needs help, conversation and intervention. Do not let it slip by, it is these unknown quantities that become tomorrow's headlines. Act Now!
It is the matter of guns being available without background checks that is causing the most concerns and with a little overtone of the mental health issues thrown in. The waiting period at gun shows does not work for an instant sale and to boot, the backgrounds cannot be completed over the weekend. If a restriction was placed on all gun shows, they would close and fade away like an old outdoor target.
There is an answer and it is not to stop gun sales, as guns do not kill people. people kill people. Is there an answer? Of course there is and Tracometry has an answer to appease all. We shall be issuing this to government in the next few days and believe we shall have the answer accepted pending discussion.
It is reported, only days after calling for a ban on assault weapons and help for the mentally ill, and on the day he is set to attend a summit on gun violence at St. Joe’s University, Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey announced that he has been selected to serve on the President’s newly formed gun violence panel.
The panel will be led by Vice President Joe Biden. Ramsey was asked by Fox29 if he is confident that this tragedy in Newtown will be enough to encourage changes, and it will not be forgotten months later like so many other shootings, to which he replied:
Charles Ramsey is On President Obama’s Gun Violence Panel, Is Not Confident Changes Will Be Made
“Am I confident? No, I’m not, because I’ve seen this happen too many times. In the midst of tragedy, everyone is making comments, they’re crying, they’re praying, they’re doing all kinds of things. But then, a month later, it’s back to business as usual … I hope this is different. I’d like to be optimistic. We’ll see. But, you know, let’s see if they’re still having this conversation in February or March. That’s the key. And, unfortunately, once everything is over in Newtown, you know, we go right back to doing the same things we did before, which is pretty much nothing.
Trying to take something away is always hard and normally fails! It is not a knee jerk reaction that is required on these issues, it is common logical smart thinking in a timely manner that needs to be at the top the list. Washington cannot agree on taxes or spending cuts, what chance do you think they can do the right thing on guns and mental health? Exactly! So let the conversation begin...

Why Has Your
Municipality, Plenty of Money in
Plain Sight,
Yet Not Collected?
By Nick Ashton,
Founder, Tracometry
What is the
point of charging fines, imposing financial penalties and property seizures and
never really attempting to collect what is rightfully owed to the citizenry? After all, it is “of the people”, is it not?
Policy
review shows the exposure of this under-collection phenomenon is sparking
political and citizen controversy. Government agencies are failing to collect
billions and billions of dollars in civil and criminal fines—even when the offenders
possess the means to pay. Parking and
booting fines alone are in the millions of dollars!
During a
recession in which governments (local, state and federal), are slashing
budgets, cutting back public services, and laying off workers, they are at the
same time neglecting to recover huge sums from street level parking/booting
fines, code enforcement housing/building fines, health violation infractions, corporations
and executives that have actually been found to have engaged in various wrongdoing.
Particularly
in such an economic stagnant environment, one would expect a groundswell of
support to push all agencies to improve their fine collection rates. Nevertheless,
neither the public, press, nor political branches has said much about this
major financial problem, let alone sought explanations for why it is occurring
nationwide.
The modern
administrative state includes thousands of different agencies, administrative
bodies, and executive entities at the federal, state and local levels. These bodies regulate practically every imaginable
industry and subject matter. Agencies
enforce statutes, rules, and regulations through a variety of means, but
imposition of monetary sanctions (including fixed or variable fines and
penalties, and restitution) is the primary enforcement tool.
Administrative
fines may be imposed in both the civil and criminal contexts. Virtually every major administrative
regulatory program contains some type of monetary sanction. Sometimes, fines are the only available
sanction.
This story
shows us exactly what we are speaking of:
“When you get a
speeding ticket, you get a fine or go to court to dispute the ticket.
Topeka
Municipal Court Judge Vic Miller said speeding ticket fines are paid rather
quickly. However, when it comes to misdemeanor charges like drug- or
alcohol-related crimes, many times those fines are not paid. Over the years,
those unpaid fines have accumulated to $12,619,265.37.
“Our
expectation is that 100 percent of the fines and fees we levy will be paid 100
percent by 100 percent of the people. That’s our attitude,” Miller said. “Reality tells us that’s not going to
occur. But that’s our mission — to do what we can as close as we can to that
100 percent.”
However,
Miller says that is never going to happen and cites an example.
“There is an $800 mandatory fine for your
second offense for driving without insurance,” he said. “You didn’t have any money to begin with or
you would have had insurance on the car. So when I give you the $800 fine and
the $149 cost, that’s $1,000 I’m likely not going to see for some time, if
ever, because the person I’m looking at just plain doesn’t have it."
Miller
had story after story on why those convicted could not pay their fines. Many
are in jail, so they have no way to pay the fines. Others, who are addicted to
drugs or alcohol, continue to be arrested, and their fines continue to climb.
He gave an example of an individual who has more than $5,000 in fines who is
almost in his court weekly, when not in jail.
While
Miller wants to see these individuals get help, he said there is nothing he can
do.
“I can’t make them have treatment,"
he said. "In many cases, treatment
is not available.”
The
municipal court has switched collection agencies to try to regain some of the
unpaid funds. Miller said the new agency, as well as the courts, are going to
be more aggressive in collections. He also said they are working with
those who have fines to develop payment programs or settlements.”
Citizens
are demanding the same level of municipal services and city councils always
look toward tax increases and at the monies lying on the streets, so to
speak. Collections are the answer, it is
money already adjudicated, with documented information on all who owe these
monies. It is the ability to be able to
collect in a forthright professional manner with proven methods in these
economic times.
recoupeit,has
the ability to make this happen! Why can we achieve this set of financial goals of collections and municipalities and
states have failed?
America is less and less independently in control of its economy and just
this simple collection problem highlights this issue. It is not the time to reflect, dissect or
form massive hearings and committees on the situation; it is time to take
action with resolve and the proven solution and improve the cash flow back to
the citizens, which they are owed and demand.
A new
approach is required, credit score threats do not work and standardized
attempts prove ineffective. We have
received or heard of the collection agencies phone calls, how it sounds like a
person reading a script or selling you a “time share” opportunity. This is an old ineffective approach and
removed from the reality of the situation.
In some cases, genuinely, you cannot get blood from a stone, so other
methods must be enacted for success.
Our capabilities offer a worldwide proven approach, everything that every
city/state needs. Give us your cash
collection problems and we will give you the answers with increased collections
into the depleted coffers.
recoupeit, IS THE CHANGE THAT IS REQUIRED, NOW!
WE are in the NOW and KEEP YOU; in the KNOW…

Criminal Analytics, Tracking and Next Event Predictability.
It is the knowledge and our
abilities to communicate at a level that is understood, by all.
The majority of Americans are against gun control of any sort. Mass killings are a worldwide problem and whether it is a rock, knife, gun, rope or bomb, people who want to inflict death upon others will do so by whatever means they have at hand. After or during the event, most take their own lives and we never know the real reasons for the outburst of mayhem. Forensically, our law enforcement are given the task to breakdown the aftermath of the death and destruction. Socially, America and the world are in dire straits and hurtling toward an out of control vortex or spiral. They say knowledge is power, social media and video games being used by the masses, with the ability to hide behind video screens and inflict disgusting bullying and hatred have grown out of proportion and must be roped in to stop the connected slaughter. We have to take control with the laws we have on the books to liquidate this community of social problems. Committees, inquiries and meetings will be a start, but not the final answer. Time is not on our side and although we want it to "never" happen again, it will. It is action that is required with proven methods of the collection of information and the ability to react to this data immediately, placing solutions in the hands of all.
Copycats are massing behind closed doors, planning on how they can do "one better", wanting the same or better publicity for their actions. During this time, we have to be more aware and vigilant. This is a time of telling others of our concerns about neighbors, co-workers, family members and friends. This is not the time to think it is none of your concern, it is! The Pied Piper Project (P3) has proven we can use the laws already on the books to remove the problems in very short periods, weeks, not multiple months. It is a means to infiltrate communities with proven knowledge and data to stop these situations.
This is the "Reality" of NOW! With gathered street level information from all sources allows us to pinpoint the problems. It is our "Next Event Predictability" that gives us more than an edge on the upcoming problems. Law enforcement wants your trust and assistance so they can gather this important data that makes the difference. This is not the time to think you are a noisy neighborr, a snitch or a nark, it a time to share and STOP the diabolical event to become the Headlines of Evil. Tracometry and its partner, BAIR Analytic, want to assist in providing the platforms to make this change happen and work together toward a NeverLand.
Dolby created a clear concise ability to hear what the musicians
created at the source, the studio. The Internet's so called Social Platforms
does the complete opposite. Every piece of interference, bad note, out of
tune, mistake is amplified to a level of ignorance beyond sense. Sadly, the
public buy it and make it "Top of the Charts".
It will never change!
It is the individual filtering that has to occur and will only occur with
"like-minded people.
Perfect example is the latest school shooting of children and teachers, so much
conjecture and miss-information was circulated in seconds of the event and
became the truth, or so even the media believed.
Last night, President Obama, stated it must "never" happen again.
Never is a wonderful word as a description, sadly it is an empty word, as
the problems wil go on and on.
There is is no "Never, Never Land" only in J.M. Barrie's writings of
"Peter Pan". The world is full of evil "Captain
Hook's" and "Tinkerbell" has no fairy dust to make this
"interference go away.
It is the hands of the sane and trusted and that might only be a handful of
people worldwide that have not been corrupted. Going back to the roots of
mankind will not change a thing as brother killed brother, poverty was rife and
government taxed us all to beyond failure. That is how we got here and
continue the vicious circle of life.
So please fly with in your own air space and use the right equalizers and
filters to navigate the continuing journey you have been sent upon and Never,
say Never Again...
Social Deathly Pitfalls That Must
Be AddressedNOW! By Nick Ashton
Founder, CEO, Tracometry
No
matter how many times you see, hear and read the news, you become isolated, if
not removed from the reality of society.
Murder, mayhem and maniacs are an abnormal section of society. Humans are uncontrollable, unpredictable in
some respects and appear in violent headlines on a daily basis. It will never cease if we do nothing.
You can
never stop a maniac… Security is only
part of what we have in place; it is never 100% as a protection and never will
be. Killing by sadistic individuals is a
worldwide problem and we cannot enter their minds in time to at least warn or
stop the eventualities. Alternatively,
are there signs that we ignore, tending not to want to accept the situation. “None
of our business”, “not my place, to report this”, someone else will report it”, these are words and statements that
flow through our minds, more times than you want or wish to know.
In our
neighborhoods, workplace and in social settings, we are seeing and interacting
with problematic individuals as they mesh into our local society and seem to become
invisible. Only because we do not want
to be seen to point out the problems with these folks, nothing is being done. It is after the fact of a major incident,
that you pull from the back of your mental hard drive, the occurrences,
situations and events that now are more real than ever and you start the “blame game” of “I should have done more”, the “told
someone syndrome” kicks in.
Communities
are so physically close to each other that information passes by in the blink
of an eye or, the individual just hides behind closed doors to not want to deal
with the world itself. It is a culture
change that is required and needs to return to the days of telling our children
more about life from our past perspectives.
Casual violence is surrounding us; our system is socially broken from a
communications point of view. Systemic
violence is beyond the realms sensibility.
Dysfunction
is rife among us all! Intervention is necessary and signs of concerns are
evident to others, who are silenced by social stigma. We are self-absorbed in our own futures and
have a underlying plans for us and ignore everything around us.
Evil is not
an illness, it is a symptom that culture is drifting in and out of. Can we stop these incidents in their
tracks? Yes, but not in all cases, this
is not a perfect world of “stop and go”, it is involvement and communications
of concerns to the right people that will make the difference. We must speak with people we trust to know
what to do and not feel you are being judged as a “nark”, “malicious super
grass” or just a “noisy neighbor”. Doing
nothing and holding the information back that can make a difference, must stop,
it is of the utmost importance and must change to the positive.
Having
worked in changing communities, analyzing crime, criminals, and tracking the
actions brought us the ability to predict events. Changing our mindsets is a priority in
society and incidents of violence highlight the needs and requirements of
communities.
The Pied Piper Project (P3) gets to the core of the community
problems. Information on crime, drug
dealings, gang infestation, bullying, domestic violence, housing issues, both
tenant and property owner, animal control and community policing, working
toward harmony, makes the difference, not just by words, but with positive, “boots on the ground” actions. We have proved it repeatedly in weeks, not
long arduous months or years that this works.
It is the recognizing of the problems and using the existing laws, codes
and polices already on the books that are used to address the situations. It is the deep concern to make change and
maintain the accomplished results.
Imparting trust and respect into neighborhoods and communities is the key. Individuals, communities must build a strong
relationship with law enforcement, public safety, code enforcement, including housing
and animal control. It is bringing back
the Trust
Factor and building a Comfort Zone that creates a firm
bond with all. It is not “them and us”!
Are you
okay with this? Are you recognizing that
we cannot continue in the downward spiral of death and destruction of our
society boundaries? You can make it stop
and you need to concentrate on those around you, finding out more of their
problems, which, if you ignore, will affect you in one way or another.
Do not delay in making changes, no matter
how unpleasant they maybe, it may save your families lives…
