Trust and trusting...

People do fall by the wayside and some find the error of their ways. Then there is the unsocial, social media, where miscreants hide behind screens and use their fingers to write lying disgruntled remarks, knowing it is untrue, but so many believe what they read on the Al Gore invented Internet is true.
Although I fully understand people's comments and beliefs, this is far from a perfect world...
When hiring individuals to work within your company, the selection process is vital. I have been told time and time again, we vet these people on their entry and acceptance and then basically that is the only time we check the background.
Wrong! You cannot afford not to have an ongoing continuous process of checking and vetting. The Peers must also understand that not reporting issues is false work ethic. It is not Snitching, it is being corporately correct.
It is your Duty of Care and Corporate Governance.
The cost of doing nothing is ill-affordable!
Trust = Trust - Respect - Understand - Sensibility - Truth
and so it goes...
