Testicular Fortitude is Missing! I Am Not On My High Horse Yet!

Testicular Fortitude is Missing,
Or Is It?
By Nicholas Ashton, CEO/CIO, CommSmart Global Group

Last year, Ricky Gervais made more comments on the Golden Globes awards show about balls than Victoria Beckham talking about her Golden Balls husband David Beckham last night.

It reminded me of the major issues at hand and our need for serious attention.

Roman is not burning!

WTF!

Yes, the pungent smell is burning flesh and the odor is getting stronger and stronger.  When a nation is falling apart, the air pollution is only the start, at first you think it is nothing and the winds will blow it away.  After hours, days, weeks the smell is even worse to those that first notice it, to the others who have been in the smell, they do not even notice it.  It becomes part of daily life and it is naively ignored.  Yes, even today!

Misguided chumps cannot recognize the massive changes that are taking place.  Duped, taken advantage of and at whose expense?

Their Own!

Donald Trump is the US president and you cannot accept that he is not a politician, but a logical businessman who is approaching in a very different manner.

The politicians are the ones out of step!

When stuck in a revolving door of corruption and among self-serving individuals, who prey on the weak, you are oblivious to the situation.  It is a fact the people of the world as a whole, are gullible and afraid to speak out.  Those that do stand up and challenge are called radicals and too conservative.

It is to do with balls!  I am not talking about March Madness or what you toss down a lane at a bowling alley.  It is the missing testicular fortitude that has driven us down this path of national failure, in fact, world failure.

When you are the Master, with the keys to Room of Information that has been collected and then the information is analyzed in real time, with the results available to all. What have you really got?

Sadly you and your team are the only ones reading the reports and seeing the historical, out of date facts, you begin to wonder what the heck is going on.

The trail of human sacrifice, pending failure, and ongoing disaster is in the world media headlines every day.

The depth of Atmospheric Noise Collection, the noise of the streets, has allowed us to understand the massive unrest that is boiling in most cultures. Sadly it is being missed by those that have deep-seated agendas that have no consequence to the citizens of the world.

Racism, poverty, entitlements, personal opinions, and trust, even from Presidents down.

Some, due to their DNA react in violent ways and means.  Their personal life is worth fighting for, not with words or ballot boxes, but with street level violence that leaves a pool of blood that goes back centuries.  Why was this violence able to manifest at a faster rate?

Social media, or should we call it, unsocial media, technology and a passion for doing right in their eyes.  They thumbed themselves to a revolution and take on the authoritarianism and dissatisfaction of the elected leadership.

It continues today, that started with the Arab Spring which was basically the first to mix social technology and a revolution, flaring up and involving the people in their masses.

This included the Anti-Coup Alliance in Egypt asking for a million man march against the military empowerment.

Last year, Tunisia had the second assassination of an opposition leader and is leading to unrest and raging on. Now Tunisia is in the spotlight again with attacks by ISIS. Places like Cambodia are rejecting election results and the dictator Robert Mugabe still somehow leads Zimbabwe with his insane push.

Russia has gone nuts and was threatening the USA.  On the other hand, Putin likes Donald Trump and Trump wants tariffs on the Chinese, even after his phone call of last night with the Chinese.

Most of you have no idea of what is going on in the world and do not think it even affects you in any way, shape or form.  It does, more than you know!

We must protect our borders and know who is entering our space!  Extreme vetting of all must happen and will!

The Western World is also in turmoil and you just go on your daily way, thinking no government could do that to the people of the United States of America.  Say it isn't so, no US government would work against the people who elected them, would they?

The reason you have no understanding is simple, you are fearful that it is all true.

Like a child during a thunder and lightning storm, you hide under the covers and think you are protected and it will all go away and be better in the morning.

Pure Bovine Slurry! (If you have no idea what that is, look it up on Google)

It is staring us all in the face!  The facts are in, the next event predictability is showing a disastrous outcome and you just go about your day, driving to work, seeing gas prices rise and rise, charge more to your credit cards and exist in your own little bubble, which is about to burst.

Remember how you stop a child from crying?  You distract them from the problem, a bump, scrape or a cut and they smile.  Why?  They trust you, that simple.

This is what government and especially in the U.S., Barack Obama, the former president and his cronies did.

Yes, Phony Scandals, as Obama puts it, diversions to dupe you.  In fact, it is his, Obama’s scandals that have caused the decline of America.

Where is your testicular fortitude?  It is time to find it and find it now, all of you!

Otherwise, that part of your anatomy will be detached and it will not be pretty!

A Reminder of Our Collective Duty The Beat Cop & the Nine Peelian Principles The Policeman's Bible

A Reminder of Our Collective Duty
The Beat Cop & the Nine Peelian Principles
The Policeman's Bible

The Job of a Police Officer

Whether you are in London, Manchester, Cardiff or Aberdeen or New York, Chicago, Cleveland, Austin, San Diego or Miami or anywhere else in the world, what makes the job of a police officer remarkable, is that like any other, the job not only engages the one walking the beat but can only can be accomplished with the full support of the family he or she comes home and to the communities he or she patrols.  It is after all the beat cop, the cop who walks the streets and patrols the neighborhoods who answers the calls that ultimately keeps order and restores peace in our society.

He or she is the heart of policing and the heart of every city because, without that presence, we would not be able to be gathered together in peace on any day or evening.

It is the old fashioned gleaning of street information which is documented, stored, analyzed and brings the collective information to apprehend and stop criminal acts, through crime and predictive analytics.

Hopefully, each community strives for that and uses the Policeman’s Bible and its Nine Peelian Principles, which are the reminder of our collective duty.

Is It Just Another Day?

Is It Just Another day?
By Nick Ashton, CEO/CTO, CommSmart Global Group

How soon we forget!  To some, every day was a day of importance, reflection, and significance.  Others, just a day off or another day in their paradise.

What is today to you?

The problems of the world are still vibrating, closer to home, emails to answer, phone calls to return and turmoil just around the corner.

It is all about survival of the fittest.  The trouble is, all of us who care are fighting for the same outcome, which is to continue in business, enjoy our social status and pay the bills.

Others, yes others, could not care less about today, tomorrow or who they slander, liable, hurt, rob or leave for dead.  This includes national and local government leaders and their minions, no, not those minions!

Dealing with a public that has been taught to be reliant on public services and entitlements is not a walk in the park.  The Brass, management or the government expect you to do more, with less.

The public just expects you to always be there!

So who is going to take charge and stem the bloodletting in the reduction of the opportunity to provide needed promised services?

Law enforcement, Fire, EMS and Emergency Services, you are under a pressure that degrades your ethics and works environment.  How you deal with your co-workers, bosses and face the public with their ever-mounting demands.

Sadly you know for a fact that you cannot deliver what is required under these circumstances and it will only get worse.

What positive actions can we do to change these real concerns and get back to what the job was all about when you started?

It is not just another day?  Is it?

Collectively we can make that difference…

KEEP YOU; in the KNOW…

You Don't Have To Kill Someone, To Take Their Life

You Don't Have To Kill Someone, To Take Their Life
By Nicholas Ashton, CEO/CIO, CommSmart Global Group

Death is the ultimate finality and guaranteed to us all.

There are those that inflict so much on other people, death would be a far better outcome.

Female Genital Mutilation has been part of other’s culture and ideology for centuries.

Female genital mutilation (FGM), also known as female genital cutting and female circumcision, is the ritual removal of some or all of the external female genitalia. The practice is found in Africa, Asia and the Middle East, and within communities from countries in which FGM is common and part of their life.

The number of women and girls at risk for female genital mutilation (FGM) in the United States has more than doubled in the past 10 years, according to new figures released.

Newsweek has reported:
The data, the first on FGM in the U.S. for a decade, is being published to coincide with the United Nations’ International Day of Zero Tolerance for FGM.
More than half a million women and girls in the U.S. are at risk of undergoing FGM in the U.S. or abroad or have already undergone the procedure, including 166,173 under the age of 18, according to the Population Reference Bureau (PRB). Immigration to the U.S. from African and Middle Eastern countries—where the practice of FGM is a deeply entrenched cultural tradition—is the sole factor for the rise in numbers, says Mark Mather, a demographer at PRB who led the data analysis. There has not been an increase in the practice happening in the U.S. itself, he says.

According to the PRB, California is the state with the largest number of at-risk women and girls, with 56,872, followed by New York, with 48,418, and Minnesota, with 44,293. In terms of cities in the U.S., New York, Washington, and Minneapolis-St. Paul is the metropolitan areas with the largest numbers of at-risk women and girls. Hawaii is the only state with zero women and girls at risk, according to the data. However, Mather points that while there may be some at risk in the state, the number is so small that it didn’t show up in the sample data.

Included in the data are girls at risk of being sent back to their family’s origin country to undergo FGM—a practice widely known as “vacation cutting”—or having a traditional midwife or cutter sent to perform FGM in the U.S.

Globally, around 130 million women and girls are living with the effects of FGM and around 3 million undergo the procedure annually, according to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). The practice, known to be performed in 29 countries and usually at the hands of midwives or physicians, involves cutting the external female genitalia for non-medical reasons. Depending on local customs, it could also include additional modifications ranging from cutting away part of the clitoris to removing the inner and outer vaginal lips before sewing the remaining skin together, leaving a small hole for urination and menstrual blood.

The practice predates religion and has no religious significance in either Islam nor Christianity. However, communities of both faiths continue to circumcise their daughters, believing it will cleanse or purify the girl, ensure she remains sexually chaste, prevent cheating on her future husband and keep her behaving well.

In the past year, FGM has come under greater scrutiny in the international community. In Egypt, where female circumcision is illegal, a doctor named Raslan Fadl was sentenced to two years in prison for manslaughter in January for performing an FGM operation that killed 13-year-old Sohair al-Batea in 2013. This was the country’s first FGM conviction. The U.K. also had its first-ever FGM trial this year, but Dr. Dhanuson Dharmasena, who was accused of illegally performing FGM on a woman in London days after she gave birth, was acquitted on Wednesday.

Immigration to Western countries where FGM is not traditionally practiced means health care providers have had to adapt to the harmful medical consequences of FGM. Greater awareness, along with better data—last month, Heartlands Hospital in Birmingham, U.K., reported treating 1,500 cases of FGM in the past five years—has led to acknowledgement of the specialized health care needs of women have had FGM, like psychological trauma and greater attention during childbirth due to pain, possible genital tears and the danger posed to the unborn child.

The case of Dharmasena only came about because the midwife noticed what he was doing—restitching the patient after she had given birth—and warned him it could be constituted as FGM.

FGM has been illegal in the U.S. since 1996, but an amendment to the law banning vacation cutting wasn’t passed until 2012. In 2006, Khalid Adem, an Ethiopian immigrant, was the first person convicted of performing FGM in the U.S. after prosecutors alleged he cut his daughter’s clitoris with a pair of scissors.

On Thursday Rep. Joe Crowley, D-New York, and Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas, introduced new legislation, supported by international human rights group Equality Now, that aims to create a national strategy to protect girls in the U.S. from FGM. Crowley, who has a 14-year-old daughter, passed a law in 2012 that helped close a loophole that allowed parents to take their children abroad for vacation cutting. He says the new bill will take further action, like establishing a hotline for at-risk girls and better education for teachers and health care workers. FGM is a sensitive subject, he says, but one that needs to be talked about, especially because it robs girls of a chance of a normal life.

“I want my daughter to experience fulfilled life at its whole. I want it not only for my daughter but for all girls to have that opportunity,” says Crowley. “For millions of girls, that’s been taken away from them, often by their own family.”

The introduction of the law was timed to coincide with the U.N.’s Zero Tolerance Day, held annually to celebrate the progress that’s been made toward FGM elimination—like the passing of legislation banning it in countries like KenyaGuinea-Bissau and Uganda—but also recognize what still needs to be done.

“It’s an important moment for everybody to reflect on the harms of this practice, on the commitments that have been done at the international level,” says Nafissatou Diop, the coordinator of the UNFPA-UNICEF joint program on FGM. “We have girls fighting for their rights, we have communities, religious leaders, women, men, who are saying no to the practice of FGM.”

The focus of this year’s Zero Tolerance Day is the medicalization of FGM, which is on the rise in several countries. Around 20 percent of those who undergo FGM will endure it at the hands of a medical practitioner, says Diop. While many parents know it’s harmful, they think there’s a reduced risk if their daughters are cut by a health professional who is trained in saving lives and knows how to stop bleeding.

According to Diop, many health providers are pressured into providing FGM services by their communities. But, she adds, FGM performed by a doctor “is not safer. FGM cannot be safe.”

In some parts of the world, medicalized FGM is even more common. For example, in Egypt, around 77 percent of girls who undergo FGM are cut by health personnel. Prevalence there is so widespread that in many rural areas and villages, doctors, for whom FGM is a source of income, earning them between 100 and 200 Egyptian pounds per case, have never seen an uncut woman.

Medical schools in the country—where cutting off part of the clitoris is the main form of FGM—do not cover it in any curriculum, but groups like UNFPA and the Egyptian Ministry of Health are training doctors on what to do when a family brings them a girl and ask for her to be circumcised.

"The challenge is that you need to work on many levels. You need to work on people's convictions, that this practice does not do what they think it does," says Germaine Haddad, program officer at the UNFPA Egypt office.

Changing deep-seated cultural customs and behaviors will be tough where pressure from society and family members to continue tradition is intense. Without being circumcised, many parents believe their daughter won’t be a good wife and, more importantly, a good person.

“[A girl] has to go through this because [if she doesn’t] she’s going to face more consequences,” says Diop, “because what is worse than being rejected by your community?”

Appeasement Is Not An Option In The Eyes Of The Innocent

Appeasement Is Not An Option
In The Eyes Of The Innocent
By Nicholas Ashton, CEO/CIO, CommSmart Global Group

Security is an absolute for all of us, our homes, families, and friends.  You even protect the mower in the shed with a bullet resistant padlock!  You might smile when you see a New York Apartment with five locks on the door and the sounds of each one unlocking, it is the facts of life.

You cannot go to sleep or leave the house with your doors unlocked and windows open, it cannot be done in a Western world.

There are those that with their culture and ideology want to dominate the world and kill those that are not of the same religious belief. It is not the religion itself, it is a faction who have taken the Koran to an extremely exaggerated level of interpretation.

You can say this on any organized religion if you wish, there are those that could not live without their religion and weekly meetings to muster them through their lives.

Think what your local cable company will sell you, security!  Cameras, motion detectors and all available in an app!  Does not get better that appeasing your fear if you are broken into!  Sadly, all they are doing is monitoring your premises and if your security is compromised, they call the police for you.  Your app will inform you as well, it is always reactive.  To be proactive you have to make sure windows, doors, and locks are in place and activated.  There is the issue, the ‘Human Element’!

Appeasement has followed us since time began.  Just as appeasements in the past has never defeated evil or genocidal lunacy, as U.K. Prime Minister, Neville Chamberlain wanted to do prior to WWII, to the malevolent megalomaniac genocidal murderer, Adolf Hitler.

So too will appeasement by cowards and liberal left loonies who are intellectually comatose appeasers who never learn, you cannot defeat an evil enemy by bowing down in fear to them.

Evil appeasement merely empowers the evil to do as it will!

There is an ongoing war and the terrorists are wanting to enter our Western shores and do harm with knives, guns, and bombs.  Open borders do not work and Europe has been seeing this with the attacks and carnage in the last 18 months.  Borders must be in place so we can complete extreme vetting and know who is who and the known background behind their words and faces.

History always repeats itself. Those courageous enough to stand up and together unite in one voice and prepared to battle immoral today, remember these important words, "Never Give In, Never Give In, Never Give In", as Statesman and Hero of the Allies Sir Winston Churchill said in WWII. Never again can the world afford to give in to the evil barbarians, 100 million lives were lost in WW2.

Terrorists, are a concern and not all Muslims are terrorists, but it seems all terrorist are Muslim!

President Trump has placed an executive order to protect our borders by utilizing Extreme Vetting, especially from seven countries with a large amount of Muslims, where there is a track record of terroristic issues.  Nothing wrong with that at all.

Security is demanded and required! A strong move on this issue is not an appeasement it is a solid cohesive plan and sane in all aspects.

The father of modern day law enforcement, Sir Robert Peel, in 1829, instituted his policing rules for the people.

He stated that ‘ The people are the Police and the Police are the People’.

The Nine Peelian Principles are the Policeman’s Bible and are improved for today and the future with the 10th Peelian Principle, which is street smart experience and Digital Policing Technology.
